With these delectable cookies, you can indulge in the irresistible combination of sweet butterscotch, salty pretzels, and a hint of sea salt. They're the perfect combination of flavors and textures to satisfy your cravings.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1 cup butterscotch chips
  • 1 cup crushed pretzels
  • Sea salt flakes, for sprinkling

Instructions:

Preheat the oven to 375F 190C and line baking sheets with parchment paper

In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy

Beat in the eggs, one at a time, and then stir in the vanilla extract

In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and 1/2 teaspoon of sea salt

Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined

Fold in the butterscotch chips and crushed pretzels, distributing them evenly throughout the dough

Drop spoonfuls of cookie dough onto the prepared baking sheets, leaving space for spreading

Sprinkle each cookie with a pinch of sea salt flakes for that perfect salty-sweet balance

Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are golden but the centers are still soft

Remove from the oven and allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheets for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely

Once cooled, enjoy the delicious blend of sweet butterscotch, crunchy pretzels, and a hint of sea salt!
