Baby Elephant Cake Pops



Cute gray and yellow baby elephant cake pops, ideal for a baby shower celebration. The adorable appearance and mouthwatering taste of these candies are sure to make guests smile.

Ingredients:

  • 1 box yellow cake mix
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Gray food coloring
  • Yellow candy melts
  • Gray candy melts
  • Lollipop sticks
  • Edible candy eyes
  • White fondant

Instructions:

Prepare the yellow cake mix according to package instructions

Add a few drops of gray food coloring to the batter until you achieve the desired elephant gray color

Bake the cake in a rectangular pan and let it cool completely

In a large bowl, crumble the cooled cake until it resembles fine crumbs

Add softened butter, milk, and vanilla extract to the crumbled cake

Mix until well combined

Form small elephant-shaped cake pops using your hands

Melt yellow candy melts and dip the top of each cake pop, leaving the bottom part gray for the elephant's body

Insert a lollipop stick into each cake pop and let them cool and harden

Melt gray candy melts and drizzle over the yellow part to create elephant skin texture

Attach edible candy eyes to the elephant's face using melted candy melts

Roll out small fondant pieces to create ears and attach them to the cake pops

Let the cake pops set completely before serving
