Chocolate Avocado Smoothie



It's hard to believe that this Chocolate Avocado Smoothie is surprisingly healthy for such a rich and satisfying treat. Cocoa powder, sweet banana, and creamy avocado come together to make a delicious chocolate flavor. It's a great way to satisfy your chocolate cravings and get healthy avocados at the same time.

Ingredients:

  • 1 ripe avocado
  • 2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 banana
  • 1 cup almond milk
  • 2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup ice cubes
  • Whipped cream and chocolate shavings for garnish optional

Instructions:

Cut the avocado in half, remove the pit, and scoop out the flesh

In a blender, combine the avocado, cocoa powder, banana, almond milk, honey or maple syrup, and vanilla extract

Blend until smooth and creamy

Add the ice cubes and blend again until the smoothie is chilled and frothy

Pour the chocolate avocado smoothie into glasses

If desired, top with whipped cream and chocolate shavings for extra indulgence

Serve immediately and enjoy!
